Return40 is a Social Enterprise. Social enterprises are organisations that use commercial strategies to achieve noble goals. In our case, our noble goal is of serving financial needs of society by benefiting people in the areas of:
Investment & Employment, and,
Being a Social Enterprise, we have made a Public commitment of donating, every year, more than 50% of our whatsoever After-Tax Annual Profits generated towards Charitable Causes. We are not pledging these donations for the future, but are committed to donating every month, and these will be in addition to 25-35% taxes paid to the Government. We believe it is important to share our gains all through our journey.
It took a long time for Return40 to get started and there were a lot of sacrifices involved to reach these initial stages of success. Also, a lot of work during the initial years took place outside the company.
Our founder, Pranav Khandhar’s journey started through launching some other venture in India and Australia, and the journey and experiences, over time, transpired towards the launch of Return40.
